Victory Garden on 31 Carmine Street, Manhattan, NY 10014 is now open with its delicious ice-creams with a touch of Turkish flavors.
Sophia aims to enrich New Yorker's ice-cream experience with goat milk based home made products including 'damla sakizi' flavor. She personally visited Kahraman Maras ( Anatolian part of Turkey) known with its damla sakizi flavor and special way of preparing and serving ice-cream.
This random act of creativeness is somehow breaking ice with ice-cream between cultures and different cuisines.
First thing you may see at the shop is Turkish bath accessories, soaps, towels: special pestemals and organic facial creams next to the ice-cream stand. Priced very kindly, each product fits perfectly to this organic oriental garden that names it self after a periods' most visited place: Victory Gardens
Taste, feel and enjoy !
